The USA-630 is the pinnacle of 30 years of evolution in
Custom Autosound’s quest for the perfect classic car radio.
This radio has large OEM style push-buttons that give a
perfect look in a classic dash. Although it looks classic
it has the latest modern features. USB input on the back of
the radio allows you to plug in a USB flash drive for
playback of MP3/WMA song files. This jack is on an 18”
extension which allows you to place it in the glove box or
ash tray for easy access (no unsightly wires or plugs
hanging out of the front of the radio). The new alpha
numeric display (30% larger than previous models) shows the
song/artist/album (id3) titles during playback of MP3/WMA
files. With the built in CD controller you have complete
control (no FM modulation) of CAM’s 10 disc CD changer. This
same CD controller also facilitates the optional iCAMKIT
iPod® interface that turns your iPod on/off and charge it
while giving you control to advance songs or play list from
the buttons on the radio. A great feature so you can keep
the iPod hidden away in your glove box or console.
With 240 watts the radio should have all the power you may
need, if you want more there are four pre-outs jacks on the
back of the radio for optional amplifiers. The back of the
radio also has auxiliary audio input for satellite radio or
any portable player you may wish to use.
Custom Autosound ‘kits’ (modifies) each
radio to fit specific vehicles so the radio fits your dash
right out of the box. No kits/bezels or jury rigging to get
it to fit/look right in your vehicle.

Control Radios
Our CD Controller radios will operate all functions of the
optional USA-CD10 10 disc changer from the buttons on the face
of the radio. Custom Autosound is the only manufacturer to
offer true CD control shaft style radios. Other companies have
offered what they call CD control shaft style radios but they
use FM modulation (CD plays through a FM radio signal) and a
separate control panel to operate the CD changer.
We do not use FM modulators and separate control
panels
for two important reasons. By using FM modulation the sound
quality of the CD is no better than FM stereo radio. Using a
separate controller for the CD changer creates the problem of
hiding the extra wires and control panel, sometimes not an
easy task in a classic vehicle.
You get the best of both worlds, yesterdays cosmetics with
today’s sound. This radio will control all functions of the
optional Custom Autosound 10 disc CD changer from the buttons
on the radio. All radios are supplied with the correct

All Custom Autosound radios with
Auxiliary input (USA-1, USA-2, USA-6) include a 26" aux-in
cable. The RCA jacks connect to the aux-in on the back of
the radio. The 3.5mm mini-stereo jack plugs into the
headphone or line out jack of your iPod, MP3, CD etc. If this is not the style of connector on
your portable device, you may need to purchase the appropriate
cables or parts separately.
